Addressing Talent Scarcity in The ServiceNow Ecosystem

In their whitepaper, Global Hiring Guide: Top Emerging Tech Hubs published on June 20th 2022, Globalization Partners predicted that "by 2030, there will be a global talent shortage of more than 85 million employees in three major industries", including technology; and the ServiceNow ecosystem is not an exception. 

 

Many companies have been forced to leave their hiring-practice comfort zone to find qualified talent due to the increasing demand for highly qualified expertise. Achieving business growth and digital transformations are even more challenging without new talent further expanding this gap between supply and demand for individuals with high-demand tech skills.



In addition, there will be more than 250,000 ServiceNow jobs for customers and partners by 2024, its estimated an unemployment rate of 1% in the ecosystem, and according to a Gartner CIO survey 66% of CIOs reported that they felt "talent was scarce and almost to crisis proportion".

 

In the face of this constantly increasing challenge of talent scarcity Volteo Digital has analyzed, adapted and pivoted on how to attract, retain, and build talent by driving several key initiatives.


On June 23, 2022 Volteo Digital opened the largest pure-play ServiceNow Center of Excellence and as part of our strategy to identify and source consulting talent from strategic geographies and talent niches in local ecosystems by partnering with universities, NGO’s and talent incubators.
